What is Operation Toofan?
Operation Toofan is Kerala’s statewide initiative against the spread of narcotic drugs. It brings together law enforcement and public awareness, with a focus on protecting children and young people through community participation.
Its second phase, Operation Toofan 2.0, extends prevention into local communities. Alongside awareness and early intervention, it includes counselling, treatment, rehabilitation and support for people returning to community life.
Our commitment
Our anti-drug campaigns carry a simple message: young people deserve encouragement, opportunities and a future free from drugs. We support Operation Toofan’s awareness efforts and encourage students, parents and the wider community to take part.
At NSO, karate is a daily practice of discipline, respect and self-control. We want our dojo to be a place where young people build confidence, find positive friendships and put their energy into sport.
Awareness also means compassion. People affected by drug use deserve understanding and access to qualified support. We encourage families to seek help from appropriate health and public services.
Awareness starts with us.
Talk openly with young people. Listen without judgement. Encourage sport and constructive activities, and share verified information about drug prevention. Every family, school and club has a part to play.
Schools, parents and community groups can contact NSO to discuss anti-drug awareness activities and ways to support this message together.
